Howden is a specialist insurance broker creating and configuring insurance services to clients globally.

The Challenge

They approached us to create a set of 3D supergraphic sculptures for their Fine Art & Specie team. The illustrations were to be used across their printed and digital insurance resources as a library of interchangeable assets. The aim of the graphics was to enhance Howden’s insurance documentation with a series of relevant and detailed imagery, bringing life to the layouts.

We supplied layered PSD files to allow Howden’s design team to create distinct compositions by swapping and repositioning ‘scenes’ and ‘products’.

The Solution

For each insurance product, we worked closely with the client to come up with multiple options for the large central sculpture known as the ‘scene’, and a series of smaller ‘product’ elements to position around it. This composition allowed for display of multiple insurance products that vary greatly in scale - from small diamonds to large oil paintings. Marrying often abstract forms with realistic materials and lighting, the final series exists as a versatile asset bringing Howden’s insurance documentation to life.

The final deliverables were 11x 3D sculptures designed for print.
